The World
Tipitaka Recitation is not as difficult as people think. At the World
Tipitaka Recitation at the Bangkok City Hall, two professors, a
diplomat, and a judge join Princess Soamsavali in reciting the Tipitaka
in Pali language and its translation in Thai.
The Tipitaka Recitation was organised in memory of Princess Galyani Vadhana, Royal Patron of the World Tipitaka.
On the following day, the whole nation join the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in reciting the Tipitaka as a merit-making activity on the occasion of the Princess's cremation on November 15, 2008.
